FACT - Field Accessible Concussion Test 2014

The Field Accessible Concussion Test, FACT, is a mobile tablet application designed and developed by neurologists, neuropsychiatrists and a neuro-opthalmologist with the safety of team sports in mind. Its simple to use and can be administered on the sidelines, normally in 5 minutes or less. It scores subjects with seemingly easy exercises that help identify the cognitive and coordinative deficits which are seen in concussions,

The accuracy of the test can be improved if baseline scores are recorded prior to an injury, but the Application is designed to identify apparent brain disfunction even without them. Scores are anonymously stored, uploaded and evaluated by our team to help improve the accuracy of the test in the hope of preventing traumatic brain injury worldwide.
